The Calgary Herald's Facebook page cover photo in June of 2013. It also ran in newspapers across Canada, including The Montreal Gazette and the Ottawa Citizen. This shot was taken on the first day of the flood from Scotsman's Hill overlooking the Calgary Stampede grounds. The water had just begun to fill the infield and threatened to cancel the stampede but, as they said "Come hell or high Water." Nothing stops the Stampede and it was open only a few weeks after the flood. (To see image full screen, click on the ikon on the top right of your page.)
