Troy and Kristina’s wedding

This couple were true troopers, their late September wedding was hit with a nasty white out blizzard, they fought bone chilling winds for the few outdoor shots we got and the bridal party rocked it!

I love this bride and groom’s rock ‘n roll attitude. They bounced with the flow when shooting plans changed drastically from what we had originally planned due to the weather.

The only advice I can give any photographer when you are getting ready for a shoot wether it’s a wedding, an engagement or even a family shoot…… ALWAYS HAVE A BACKUP PLAN.!

In this case, during my pre-scout trip to the hotel, I noticed the stairwell in front of the parkade and the big window in the bridal suite that could be a makeshift studio when the sheers were drawn.

Boom! I love the final results!!! Three completely different feels for one wedding.

Congrat’s T&K!

"... goin' to the chapel and they're gonna get married."

Ok just look at how gorgeously in love these two are!

I’ve know this, soon to be, groom since he played with lego. Ok, maybe he’d still play with lego if given a chance.

To be honest…. I’d love to play with some lego today!

So when these two love birds asked me to shoot their engagement photos I was THRILLED!!! We had so much fun at Baker Park in Calgary, where they had their first date AND where they got engaged! Damion and Jumè were willing to do all of my silly ideas and gave me nothing but magic.

I’m in love with every shot of this engagement session. I truly feel this is the best shoot I’ve ever done. Just lighting in a bottle with two young people who are head over heels in love with each other and weren’t afraid to show the world.

Thanks you two and congrats’s on your up coming marriage!!!
