Kas & Nik were so fun! They rolled with the punches on their wedding day and it showed in their photos! Upper Kananaskis Lake is such a beautiful place for a wedding and their day was perfect. From the start when I had a miss communication between Nik (the Groom) and his best man. I made a joke to get them to laugh about “Give him a kiss”….. well. Both of them though I was talking about each of them and …. oops they ended up giving each other a kiss!! LOL Such a funny moment that made all of us howl with laughter!!!

Such a perfect day in fact….. a grizzly bear decided she wanted to wedding crash just as the ceremony was wrapping up!!!

There is only on shot of the bear. If you look at the photo after the ceremony “kiss” of Nik and Kass, there’s the bear swimming up to the ceremony in the lake!!!

Cspace Calgary Wedding!

What a stunning bride and groom. Aven & Jordan were two superstars who were up for anything I asked of them and the kids….. brought it, BOOM!

The venue Cspace, in Marda Loop Calgary, is a truly stunning place to have a wedding. I love the art deco style of the historic building. It has been transformed from a school (built in 1912!) into an arts hub & event space. There are great spots to place a couple for photos all through the building and that main entrance stairwell, with all of those hour glasses hanging from the ceiling… COME ON!
